What they do
A fire guard is not a body in a chair
Our fire guards patrol the space on a set schedule, keep exits and egress paths clear, watch for hazards, know where every extinguisher and pull station is, and keep a fire watch log when the job calls for one. If something happens, they call it in and get people out.
