Eddie Collazo, founder and Executive Director of Ares Security Consulting Inc., brings 20+ years of experience in security and risk management. As a detective in the NYPD Intelligence Division, he worked U.S. presidential visits and coordinated security for visiting heads of state during the United Nations General Assembly. He also created the Special Events Liaison program, working directly with the city's most iconic venues and building partnerships between the public and private sectors.
His career includes managing security at Google's New York City headquarters, protecting a world-leading corporate workplace and the people in it. His work spans both the private and public sectors, and he has advised brands like Samsung, Spotify and HubSpot, plus New York Fashion Week and the NYC Wine & Food Festival.
At Ares, Eddie leads tailored physical security for corporate offices, hospitality venues, cultural institutions and major events, from active shooter preparedness and risk mitigation to everyday property protection.
